Categorical victory of Cocodrilos de Matanzas over Leñadores de Las Tunas.
Yesterday, Friday, Matanzas played its first game at the Victoria de Girón in this II Elite League and did so categorically defeating Las Tunas by KO in the eighth inning 10×0.
The Matanzas offense was overwhelming, with a total of thirteen hits and with Ariel Sánchez, who had a perfect night of three-three, including a grand slam, and five runs batted in.
Aníbal Medina, Andrys Pérez and Eduardo Blanco, each with three-two hits in the game, continue to be on fire.
Pitching continues to be the best department of the Cocodrilos in the current contest, this time leaving the Lumberjacks in zero with a victory for the young reliever Haykel Parra.
