Matanzas delegation to participate in the XI Congress of the WBF is sent to Matanzas.

In an act presided over by the member of the political bureau of the Council of State and secretary general of the Cuban Women’s Federation (FMC), Teresa Amarelle Boué, and the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and its first secretary in Matanzas, Susely Morfa González, the delegation from Matanzas to the 11th Congress of the FMC was flagged off.

The group composed of 25 women from the thirteen municipalities of the province, aims to bring to debate the problems affecting women in the respective territories, as well as to show the actions aimed at defending the work of the Revolution from their work or study position.

The banner was received by Odalis García Pérez, secretary general of the FMC in the province, while Carema Sarabia Águila declared that the matanceras federates are winners of the impossible.

Dairelis Correa García, from Jagüey Grande, and Regla Caridad Casañola Sardiñas, from Calimete, reaffirmed the pride they feel for the possibility of participating in the event and representing their coterráneas. On the occasion, they also paid homage to the National Hero, José Martí, on the 171st anniversary of his birth.
