The maternal mortality rate remains at zero, an encouraging figure that shows the commitment of health professionals in the sector.

Even so, there is insistence from the basic work groups, from primary care to hospital work, to maintain and improve the results, José Hernández Hernández, deputy director of Public Health in the Matanzas territory, told the radio station.
