Tania Reyes Palacio, programmer of the sector in the territory, highlighted to our radio station the maintenance of the summer workshops that, from the manifestations of literature, plastic arts, theater, dance and music, will be available to children, adolescents and young people in the house of culture «María Villar Buceta», as well as the rescue of the project «La Peña de Fabián», which will return on the eighth night of the month to the theater «Cuba».
Likewise, the interviewee mentioned that both the municipal capital and its different popular councils will host exhibitions, educational talks and musical and dance presentations in salute to the International Youth Day and the 98th anniversary of the birth of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on August 12th and 13th, respectively.
Reyes Palacio also mentioned the celebration of the Summer Popular Festivities to be held on August 16th, 17th and 18th and the special show that will honor the meritorious work of the Cuban Women’s Federation on its 64th birthday on August 23rd and the «free style» dance exhibition that will take place on the following day in the «Pepe Roque» park and the «Cuba» theater, the following day, dissimilar local talents will materialize in the «Pepe Roque» park and the «Cuba» theater, as well as the awaited cultural activity that will close the summer stage in the popular council «Güira de Macuriges».
