A little more than four decades ago, Emilia Pérez Rodríguez entered into an apprenticeship that even today, at the age of 65, gives her more than one joy. After her retirement, she continued her beautiful work as an educator in Estrellitas Rojas Day Care Center.

A little more than four decades ago, Emilia Pérez Rodríguez began an apprenticeship that even today, at the age of 65, gives her more than one joy. After her retirement, she continued her beautiful work as an educator in Estrellitas Rojas Day Care Center.

For thirteen years, twelve of them together with Rosa López, she has been working in this center located in Peñas Altas, Matanzas. With their sensitivity, knowledge and dedication, these women have taught and cared for many children, providing them with the tools they need for their integral development.

As the time approaches to say goodbye to what has been the center of her existence for so long, Emilia reaffirms that, even when she does not come to the circle, she will always be an educator.
