Young Santiago 2023 athlete returns to Pedro Betancourt ( +Photos).

With an emotional welcome ceremony, the people of Pedro Betrancourt welcomed the young athlete Maiko Antonio Vázquez Aballí, back in his homeland after integrating the national handball delegation in the Pan American Games Santiago 2023.

The Enrique Pérez Triana art gallery welcomed the warm return of Vázquez Aballí, who was applauded by representatives of the Municipal Sports Department, political and governmental authorities and other guests. Among them, Yonel Estrada Ramírez, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power congratulated the athlete and praised his work in Santiago 2023.
