Las Palmas Cultural Center to Reopen Its Doors

The Las Palmas cultural center is preparing to reopen its doors with a comprehensive redesign that promises to surprise.

This was confirmed by Aleideline Sanfield, communicator for Artex Matanzas, who detailed the staff’s preparations for this reopening.

«Las Palmas has always been a very popular center in its neighborhood because it has had a very interesting design for children, especially on weekends, and also for adults with themed afternoons. The Matanzas population is eagerly awaiting this reopening.»

Sanfield explained that the center will maintain its children’s spaces and themed afternoons with peasant music, Mexican music, and recorded music, in addition to the Figurarte gathering, which was born there, but the novelty doesn’t end with culture.

«Right now we are working on the installation of solar panels. That is a whole process that involves many details to keep it active, and it will also be a benefit to maintain services beyond the nighttime spaces.»

The artistic talent will also be diverse; along with sociocultural projects and independent artists, amateur talent will be integrated in coordination with the Provincial Center of Houses of Culture, and to complete the experience, the gastronomic offering is being renewed.

A center that is reborn, with clean energy and proposals for everyone. Las Palmas is preparing to once again be a family meeting point in Matanzas.
