CTC professional members for training in Pedro Betancourt

As a preamble to the XXII Congress of the Cuban Workers’ Central, the seminar for the preparation of the professional members of this organization was held in Pedro Betancourt municipality.
Among the political and government authorities and representatives of the participating labor collectives, Taimí Martínez Domínguez, member of the provincial secretariat of the organization, pointed out the attention to indicators such as the assemblies for the presentation of the budget and plan of the economy for 2024 and union affiliation and activism, as well as the quality in the implementation of the organic and election processes in the grassroots organizations.
Damaris González Pérez, municipal secretary of the CTC, pondered the correct planning and implementation of the 184 union sections in the locality based on the fulfillment of the duties of the affiliates and an effective communicational strategy during the organic process to train the workers.
Besides, Louserelis Valle Mestre, member of the Party Bureau in the town, emphasized the need to improve the work of the union movement, taking into account its notorious role in the current socioeconomic context of the island.
Likewise, Irisbel Pérez Ojeda, member of the secretariat of the National Health Union, urged to encourage outstanding workers and to increase the presence and combat of the union collectives in the social networks.
Likewise, those present praised the revolutionary trajectory and imprint of the martyr Lázaro Peña González and the upcoming 63rd birthday of the organization, while they also honored the people of Betancourt for their leading role in this edition of the CTC Congress, which will become a celebration for the Cuban proletariat.
