Cuban baseball summary
Matanzas´s player Ariel Martinez hit a single in four innings and scored a run in the 7×0 victory of the Nippon Ham Wrestlers over the Lotte Marinos, at the Es Con Field in Hokkaido, in the Japan Professional Baseball League 2023.
With this hit, the Crocodile starter stopped a streak of 20 consecutive innings without a hit.
He now has an average of 249 and increased his total of hits to 38. In 369 at-bats he has hit 92 hits, including 22 homers and 15 home runs. He has pushed 64 runs, received 44 tickets and suffered 94 strikeouts.
The other news of the day, related to the NPB, has to do with the Guantanamero Pedro Pablo Revilla, who after concluding his contract with the Chunichi Dragons, left the country early and did not return to Cuba.
