Existential crises can even kill.
We have only one life, let’s not waste it, there won’t be another chance.
A friend came up to me and said: -I am in the middle of an existential crisis. I answered him: -Do you know what an existential crisis is? He replied: -I have an idea. Then I suggest we do an exercise together. Let’s Google the meaning of existential crisis. He agreed and we started the research.
«It means that the person has developed a negative perspective of himself, the world and his future. This perception usually results in the appearance of different psychological problems such as: feelings of helplessness, depression, hopelessness and even the appearance of suicidal ideas».
I told him: -Now let’s analyze each part of the paragraph. Are you unhappy with yourself? Do you consider that the world in its development is unfair? Do you not believe in the future? With these questions you go home and you will answer me at a future meeting.
I summarized: Did you see the consequences that this situation can generate? Take the paragraph with you, try to read it and analyze it, get rid of the bad ideas and try to recover from the bad thoughts. Do not go to the psychologist. Say, I do not have problems and above all enjoy the happy moments without being trapped by the bad moments.
Remember what has become a cliché: We have only one life, let’s not waste it, there won’t be another chance.
NOTE: I apologize to the specialists of the subject for entering a field out of my profile. But I consider that I helped my friend and even helped myself.
