February 14th: Tourism shares its love with Special School .

Work groups of the main Cuban resort of the Ministry of Tourism decided to share their love on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, with teachers and students of the Retoños Martianos special education school.
Toys, candies, ice cream and other goodies were delivered to children of the school, thanks to the collaboration of the managers and workers of the Royalton Hicacos and Starfish Varadero hotels, both belonging to the Cubanacán business group.
«Nothing makes us happier than receiving the smiles of the little ones in gratitude for our gesture. Love is repaid with love,» wrote Yahíma Ortega, secretary general of the Starfish Varadero union bureau, on her Facebook wall.
Amaurys Echevarría, representative of the Union in Royalton Hicacos, posted this is a work of infinite love, which today made our hearts vibrate, seeing in these infants the joy of our presence. A better world is possible.

Echevarría said that the visit to the school is also part of the program of activities related to the organic process for the Third Conference of the National Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers (SNTHT).

The Retoños Martianos Special School in Varadero prepares children with special needs to face life, who see in this institution their second home.
The teachers of the school have a rigorous preparation, focused on the defined needs of the students, although there the consequences of the unjust blockade of the United States against Cuba, and they do not have essential technologies in the increase of the quality of teaching.

Located in the area known as historic Varadero, Retoños Martianos is used to receiving daily samples of the working population of this sun and beach destination, distinguished by the human quality of its workers.
