Flamingo ice cream factory restarts production.

After a general maintenance process, the Flamingo ice cream factory, of Empresa Flora y Fauna Matanzas, resumed its production, which benefits the units of the state entity, according to Elien Domínguez, deputy director of the entity.

Located in the Matanzas beach of Buey Vaca, the mini-industry has a production capacity of 50 liters per day of ice cream and a team of four workers.

The ice cream is included in the gastronomic offers of the tourist packages of units such as Laguna de Maya, La Dionisia, La Valla de Gallos and La Edad de Oro, sites of great demand by national and foreign tourists.

Likewise, as part of Flora y Fauna’s corporate social responsibility, the product has been marketed in District No. 4 in the Reynold García area, in addition to making donations to Room J of the Comandante Faustino Pérez Surgical Clinic.

The mission of Empresa Flora y Fauna Matanzas is to provide services for the conservation and development of the flora and fauna of the equine genetic pool and to commercialize livestock products for society.
