Gas distribution continues despite energy limitations .

This editor talked to engineer Yamilé Alemán Laguna, head of the Customer Service Group of the Matanzas Fuel Commercialization Territorial Directorate, about the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the province.
The specialist confirmed that this Monday the distribution of the fuel is maintained according to what was planned for this day.
«In that sense will receive fuel the territories of Calimete, where the bedridden will receive it; Los Arabos; the Frank País distribution, in Colón; the locality of Santa Ana, in Unión de Reyes, and in the city of Matanzas the points of Maceo Park, Versalles, Ceiba Mocha, Hershey and Reynold García».
He also confirmed that for the rest of the week there is a guarantee to continue with the distribution of gas.
«At the moment we are working with LPG that arrives in pailas from Energás and La Habana. Distribution will not be stopped at any time and according to the existing availability, the plant will work to guarantee the filling of the cylinders. Therefore, we will ensure the service to the population in the midst of this energy contingency», confirmed the engineer.
Regarding sales through the virtual store, Yamilé Alemán pointed out that the store is active, however, «in order to sell through this channel it is necessary to have electricity because the connectivity of our servers depends on it.
Today we woke up today without electricity, so it has been impossible to enable the store. Anyway, our IT team is working to open the store in the afternoon, at some point, and if we can, to inform an hour earlier. We will have the store open until the last cylinder is purchased.»
