Library of Matanzas promotes reading for children.

As part of its activities to promote the habit of reading among children, the Gener y del Monte Provincial Library opens registration for the «bebeteca» space, a reading promotion activity for children between the ages of two and five who do not attend Children’s Circles.

«If you want your little ones at home to spend a different afternoon and interact with other children of their age while drawing, learning and having fun, enroll them in our bebeteca», reads the call published by the institution on its social networks.

The space is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while on Saturdays activities are held until noon.

According to the information provided by the library’s communication team, the only requirement to enroll children is the presentation of a child’s ID card.

A space for the promotion of the reading to the children of Matanzas becomes the opportunity of the baby library, promoted by the provincial library of Matanzas.
