Los Delfines Hotel wins in the Islazul Varadero Experience Contest (+Photos).

Talent, initiative, creative sense, willingness to excel and to improve the offers, were common aspects of the team that represented Los Delfines Hotel, winner of the first edition of the Islazul Varadero Branch Experience Contest.

The competition was also attended by workers from Mar del Sur, Club Tropical and Acuazul, the latter being the venue of the contest, where the innovative potential of the contestants was demonstrated, said Milton Francisco González Zayas, deputy director of research and development at the famous Playa Azul, on his Facebook profile.

Los Delfines Hotel dazzled «with a show sustained by its script, in which, in crescendo, the children’s flock was pampered by a team presided over by the director, who flattered the little ones with ice cream and corn roses, served by cartoon characters and clowns,» wrote the expert.

Milton posted the novelty of a breakfast in the swimming pool, in charge of Acuazul, and made one hundred percent with national products. In the case of Mar del Sur, it meant the proposal of Tiki fusion, plus traditional Cuban cocktails, in alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.

He also pointed out that Mar del Sur is credited with the introduction of the Tiki cocktail bar in Varadero, known as a type of Polynesian (or Hawaiian) style drink, which adds tropical ingredients, a rum base and extravagant garnishes.

Mastery and elegance accompanied the maneuvers of the young barwoman of Club Tropical, who amazed with a delicious cocktail, and the incorporation of fire in the finish.

«It has been an excellent opportunity to socialize the good practices of the hotels in that commitment to continue developing tourism and that vacationers who visit us continue to see Cuba as a unique destination,» said Omar Bosch, general manager of the Islazul Varadero branch.

Boch expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of this event, a showcase of the gastronomic experiences of the different competing facilities, with the added value of giving «the client the possibility of intervening in some way in the process of elaboration and presentation of the service that was going to be provided».

The first version of the Islazul Experience Contest took place on December 15th during the important period of the tourist season, which takes place in the country from November to April, and to which the Varadero Branch arrived with significant improvements in the comfort of its hotel plant, and the commitment of managers and workers to make this a successful stage.
