These are representatives of work collectives at the grassroots level, precisely where union activity takes place, stated Osmar Ramírez Ramírez, general secretary of the CTC’s provincial committee, convinced of the value of these men and women who are first admired in their own workplaces.
Ramírez praised those who are an example for young people currently in training or who hold positions in the executive offices of the bureaus, which is why it was decided to award them the 87th anniversary trophy of the founding of the CTC, instituted only once to honor outstanding performances, assured Teresa Montelier, a member of the CTC Secretariat in Matanzas.
