Peace on paper, hunger on the way: the Israeli paradox.

While the world watches the conflict in Gaza with interest, Israel has ratified a US-backed ceasefire, but maintains severe restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid.

While the world watches the conflict in Gaza with bated breath, Israel has ratified a US-backed ceasefire, but maintains severe restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid.

Of the 600 trucks per day agreed upon to assist the civilian population, barely half manage to cross. This contradiction between diplomatic rhetoric and concrete action exposes a double-edged policy that directly affects thousands of lives.

What is most troubling is not only the material limitations, but the message it sends: what good is an agreement if it is not upheld in practice? Washington, the guarantor of this pact, is exposed before its allies and the international community. Its credibility is eroding, not for lack of power, but for lack of consistency.

In the interdimensional arena—where local decisions have global repercussions—diplomatic cynicism comes at a high price.
Humanitarian aid should not be held hostage to strategic interests. When peace is negotiated, life must be guaranteed. And today, that guarantee is in question.
