Juan Gualberto Gómez Ferrer is considered to be one of the most consistent patriots with the independence principlesthat the the history of Cuba has ever had. He is usually enhanced because he is the person chosen by José Martí to organize preparations within the Island for the War of Independence.
Every story has a beginning and an end. The Juan Gualberto Gomez´story is no an exception; he was born, grew up and carved his name in the Cuban history, and he even had time to do journalism and fight against racial discrimination.
