Barça defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at the Camp Nou, a result that erases the memory of their last encounter before the stadium’s renovation.

The German side opened the scoring early, but the Blaugrana responded with relentless pressure. The equalizer came at the start of the second half, and from then on, Barcelona controlled the tempo of the game.

Jules Koundé scored both of Barça’s goals. The full-back headed in two crosses from Rashford and Lamine Yamal, actions that decided the match.

Although Hansi Flick’s team had more possession, they created little danger against Frankfurt’s defense. Even so, the Catalan side managed the closing stages of the game and secured a much-needed victory to stay in a qualifying position.
