Radiotherapy Service at Matanzas Oncology Center Energized

As part of the program for optimizing electrical circuits for vital objectives, the radiotherapy service of the Oncology Center in the city of Matanzas was energized — an investment that allows the health institution’s services to continue with greater guarantee.

Executed by a distinguished brigade of linemen, the technical work required intervention in the circuit that feeds the Yumurino maternity hospital, so that both institutions enjoy guarantees of electrical service, even in the face of drops in the national electroenergetic system.

The team of workers from the Yumurino Electric Company had previously worked on improvements to the network, such as the sectionalization of circuits that feed vital centers to reduce additional loads — a strategy that facilitates services in moments of high generation deficit.

Health sector authorities in Matanzas confirmed that after the investment, the genetics services and the pain clinic gain vitality, while the Oncology and Chemotherapy consultations are habitually maintained at the Faustino Pérez hospital.
