Fair at the El Framboyán Cabaret in Unión de Reyes
Unión de Reyes – The municipality’s agricultural fair found a new venue in the courtyard of the El Framboyán cabaret, a space that has received a favorable reception from the community and that, according to the residents themselves, offers better conditions to enjoy this day of commercialization of countryside products.
«The presence of trees that provide shade is very favorable for attendees; staying in a cooler and more pleasant space favors remaining at the fair and contributes to the activity having greater acceptance among the territory’s families,» highlighted José Hernández, one of the residents.
The Saturday version of the fair featured a wide variety of agricultural products and the representation of different productive hubs of the municipality. Another positive aspect is the possibility of online payment — an option that facilitates commercial operations and responds to the new forms used by commercialization.
«I believe the sale of meat products should be prioritized. It is necessary to seek alternatives that allow incorporating this type of offering and respond to one of the demands expressed by consumers,» said Jacqueline Umpierre, a neighbor of the place.
The fair, moreover, transcends the strictly commercial sphere. Culture and sports are integrated into the day with proposals destined to accompany the activity, while children have recreational spaces and sports actions that turn the gathering into an option for enjoyment for the whole family.
In the early morning hours, the fair featured the presence of Yaneisy Fuentes López, First Secretary of the Party in Unión de Reyes, who exchanged with merchants and residents. During the tour, Fuentes López recognized the favorable impact of the fair at its new venue and the importance of continuing to strengthen these spaces of exchange and commercialization for the benefit of the population.
