Provincial Radio invites to the III Encounter of Young Radio Broadcasters of Matanzas.
During the press day, the Provincial Directorate of Radio invites young journalists and filmmakers to participate in the III Meeting of Young Radio Broadcasters of #Matanzas.
📻 The activity, which will take place next March 12th at Radio 26, is a unique opportunity for the exchange of experiences, initiatives and challenges inherent to journalism and the creation of programs in the radio field.
«In addition to giving continuity to previous meetings of young radio creators and journalists in Matanzas, it also marks a starting point, since the debates will be directed to sensitive points of our daily work and to improve our relationship with audiences,» stated Gabriel Torres Rodríguez, head of the Informative Department of La Radio de tu ❤️.
🌐 With the rise of the internet and social networks, radio needs a transformation to reach a larger audience. It is therefore essential to address in colloquiums the presence of radio on the web, the realization of sound and journalistic exercise in contemporaneity.
In this space for dialogue, young directors and journalists are invited to present texts on relevant topics, such as the active participation of audiences in the construction of the radio message, the growth of community and university radio and the intricate relationship between radio production and artistic work.
In this regard, Torres Rodriguez added: «How to bring the radio product closer to young people? How to relate better with our followers? What else can be done so that the «New Radio» becomes a reality rather than a concept? On these topics will focus the debate, which we hope will be fruitful and enriching.»
🤩 The importance of this meeting lies not only in the celebration of six and a half decades of Radio 26, but also in the opportunity to explore the future of the radio medium in Matanzas. On that line, the Provincial Directorate of Radio will present ideas, concepts and assessments that mark the path towards a new management model in the Matanzas radio system.
