The Barça attack was unstoppable, putting on a footballing masterclass with goals from Ferran Torres, Fermín, Roony Bardghji, and Raphiña, the latter netting a brace to seal the win and secure Barcelona’s place in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Right winger Roony Bardghji capitalized on the confidence shown in him by German coach Hansi Flick, racking up a slate of assists and scoring one of the five goals. In addition to creating attacking opportunities, he also contributed to the team’s defensive efforts.
The tactics employed by Baskonia’s manager, Ernesto Valverde, continue to yield negative results. In their last six matches against Barcelona, they have conceded 16 goals and scored only one, reinforcing the Catalan side’s dominance.
Barcelona have advanced to the final and await their next opponent, who will emerge from the Madrid derby, where they will seek to lift the title for the second consecutive year.
