A meeting between government authorities, community factors, local organizations and residents, which took place in the Bolondronense demarcation of the municipality of Pedro Betancourt, was oriented towards the analysis of the institutional response to the proposals of the electors and the evaluation of the popular controls applied in entities of the territory.
The session was led by Yamilet Aldama Oviedo, president of the People’s Council, who emphasized the importance of maintaining a transparent dialogue between representatives and voters.
Under her leadership, previous commitments were reviewed, and the need for each agency to act with greater efficiency and sensitivity to the population’s demands was stressed.

It was emphasized that addressing everyday problems must be more efficient and that inter-institutional coordination is key to ensuring effective responses and strengthening public trust.
Other points of discussion included the results of the public oversight conducted at the José Díaz Agricultural Production Cooperative (CCS), the Family Support System, the urban garden, and community services.
The organizations presented action plans to improve their work, which sparked a debate about the relevance of the measures and the need for each commitment to translate into tangible improvements for the community.
Finally, the critical water supply situation in the district was addressed, affected by a transformer failure at the pumping station. It was reported that the highest provincial and municipal authorities are closely monitoring this issue, considered highly sensitive for the population, and the commitment to seeking alternatives to enhance the supply to homes and community centers while permanent technical solutions are implemented was reiterated.
