Construction workers of Matanzas unite in solidarity with Artemisa.

The action of these builders not only helps clean up debris, but also strengthens the social fabric and resilience of Cubans in the face of adversity.
In a gesture of unity and solidarity, a brigade of builders from Matanzas left this Wednesday for the province of Artemisa to help in the recovery of the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños, a locality still facing the aftermath of the recent hurricane Rafael.
Omar Armesto Domínguez, Equipment Director of Empresa de Construcción y Montaje de Matanzas, told Radio 26 about the importance of teamwork: «Our main strength is our unity. Let no one doubt it. When it comes to solidarity, builders are always present».
The brigade is made up of 14 men, including eight truck drivers and three operators specialized in heavy equipment such as loaders and backhoes. In addition, they have a group leader and a man care specialist, which ensures proper management of both the work and the well-being of the team.
The Matanzas builders from Constructora Guanima have the objective of carrying out clean-up work in the areas most affected by the debris. It is estimated that they will remain in San Antonio de los Baños for approximately one week, working tirelessly from seven in the morning until ten at night.
The action of these builders not only helps to clean up debris, but also strengthens the social fabric and the resilience of Cubans in the face of adversity.
