Deputy Prime Minister tours sites of social and economic interest in Matanzas.

Specialists from different branches of medicine developed a Health Festival in areas of the Libertad Park. The member of the Party’s Central Committee and Vice Prime Minister Inés María Chapman Waugh learned about this initiative, extended to the communities of Matanzas.

Together with the Ministers of Domestic Trade Betsy Díaz Velázquez and Labor and Social Security Marta Elena Feitó, the Cuban leader visited the Casita Infantil Avioncito de Colores, located in the Carbonera community. Nearby, Chapman Waugh inaugurated a water supply tank, which will benefit a population of about two thousand inhabitants.

The governmental tour reached the Commercialization Business Unit belonging to the Genetics Livestock Company . Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Idael Pérez Brito, Inés María learned about the current plans of the entity, and called for the revitalization of the livestock capacities based on the use of the installed technology.

More than one hundred children receive the benefits of the restoration of the Children’s Circle Los Duendecillos. The Deputy Prime Minister spoke with children and workers, whom she urged to take care of the building. She also checked the progress of the Outpatient Room attached to the José Ramón López Tabranes Provincial Gynecobstetric Hospital, which will contribute to the Maternal and Infant Care Program.
