Experts from Matanzas Participate in National Dermatology Event .

Eleven dermatology specialists from the province of Matanzas will participate in the twelfth National Skin Cancer Conference, taking place this Thursday and Friday in Havana.

The event will be held in both in-person and virtual formats, featuring courses and lectures given by renowned Cuban and international professors. The objective is to exchange information on the epidemiology of this type of cancer, its etiopathogenesis and clinical manifestations, tumor diagnosis, and dermatological promotion, prevention, and treatment.

In recent years, the incidence of skin cancer has increased in Cuba, hence the importance of this event, Dr. Olaine Regla Gray Lovio, president of the Cuban Society of Dermatology, told Radio 26.
