The day of celebration for the 148th anniversary of the Hermitage of Monserrate and the 25th anniversary of the twinning between the cities of Matanzas and Vilanova y la Geltrú, announces this Friday the inauguration of another exhibition, now of the photographer Gío Fernández, in the own Hermitage of Monserrate, and then the presentation of the Camerata José White, directed by the maestro Bienvenido Quintana.
On the ninth, a different Saturday at the Museum of Art will be dedicated to Hispanic culture, with the Vida Children’s Musical Theater Company presenting the play A Peasant Christmas, and other surprises are promised under the direction of hostess Loreley Rebull.
On Sunday, at the Parque de la Libertad, the Concert Band and the Bulerías dance group from the city of Cárdenas will perform. The Artística Gallega and Los Gaiteros de La Habana are also expected to participate.

Sauto Theater, a National Monument within the festivities, will have on stage the Nova Danza group, the famous Spanish ballet of Professor Kenia Carrazana, in performances on Saturday at 8:30 pm and on Sunday at 4 pm with the premiere of the show «Bells of the dawn».
