The cultural activities, which will continue until January 4th, have brought together artists and the public in emblematic locations throughout the town.
The year 2026 began with a vibrant performance by Mariachis Sol de México in Domingo Mujica Park, marking the start of a diverse and festive program.
On January 2nd, the children’s group Corazón Cubano filled the El Rumbo stage with joy with their performance, captivating audiences of all ages.
Today, January 3rd, the day is graced by a special performance from the legendary rumba group Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, who will take the stage at 6:00 p.m. in Domingo Mujica Park.
Their presence reaffirms Jovellanos’ commitment to the defense and promotion of Cuban culture, proudly raising its most authentic banner: that of art and tradition.
The Jovellanos Trocha Festival continues to be a space for encounter, identity, and celebration for the people, who honor their history with music, dance, and joy.
