Massive blood donation in polyclinic of Pedro Betancourt municipality.

With the safeguarding of life as a fundamental premise, a massive blood donation was made at the Dr. Cesáreo Sánchez polyclinic in Pedro Betancourt municipality by volunteers from the health area and other organizations involved.

Gabriel Serrano Pedroso, director of the health facility, recognized the promptness and solidarity of the donors and the relevance of their gesture to contribute to solve the deficit of this biological fluid in the province.

Similarly, Serrano Pedroso highlighted the wide participation of the people of Betancourt and especially the seven donors who, on behalf of the polyclinic, stepped forward to save lives.

Blood donations are an act of human heroism, they help those in need in urgent treatments and interventions and contribute to increase the hope and quality of life of patients with life-threatening diseases.
