Matanzas Bank of Credit and Commerce resumes operations after electric power recovery .

With these actions, the Bank of Credit and Commerce reaffirms its essential role in the economic and social fabric of Matanzas, providing essential services when the community needs them most.

Following the gradual recovery of the electric service in the province of Matanzas, the Bank of Credit and Commerce has announced that its branches have resumed normal operations.

This measure has been possible thanks to the stabilization of the energy supply, which had temporarily affected the operation of its facilities. The information was confirmed through the financial entity’s official Facebook page, which highlighted its commitment to serving the community.

In the context of this recovery, BANDEC has established as a priority the attention to retirees, pensioners and employees in the management of pension and salary payments. This decision responds to the importance of ensuring the economic well-being of these vulnerable sectors, who depend to a large extent on their monthly income. The logistics of attention will depend on the specific conditions of each municipality, for which the bank has called on the population to keep informed through its official channels.

According to Yanetsy Chávez Camaraza, provincial director of Banco de Crédito y Comercio, this normalization of operations «not only represents a relief for BANDEC’s customers, but is also another important step towards the recovery of daily life in the province. The reactivation of banking functions is fundamental for economic dynamism, since it facilitates daily transactions and business operations that had been temporarily suspended after the electrical emergency».

The banking authorities also invite the people of Matanzas to be patient and understanding, since the normalization process may face unforeseen challenges.

With these actions, the Bank of Credit and Commerce reaffirms its essential role in the economic and social fabric of Matanzas, providing essential services when the community needs them most.
