The Matanzas Science and Technology Park (PCTM) will present innovative solutions as part of its projects at the 40th edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2024), an event that will be held from November 4th to 9th in the Cuban capital.
According to the institution’s official Facebook profile, during FIHAV 2024, the Park will exhibit the main projects and services under execution, highlighting innovative initiatives such as «Varadero, Digital City», which seeks to transform this renowned seaside resort into a digital tourist destination, significantly improving connectivity and facilitating e-commerce through information and communications technologies.
In addition, the company will also showcase the Sports Intelligence Suite, a collaboration with the Cuban Sports Research Institute that uses data analysis to optimize the training of athletes in sports such as basketball and boxing.
Other notable projects include the manufacture of 3D medical prostheses, which promises to significantly reduce dependence on imports in the healthcare sector. This is complemented by advanced software for modeling and building medical components.
In addition, the Matanzas Science and Technology Park also works in various areas such as energy, environment and business management, contributing to the informatization of society and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
