Matanzas University celebrates 53 years of existence.

«In reality, every day in front of my students in the classroom, they constitute a challenge that I take on with great motivation and commitment.»
The University of Matanzas celebrates its 53rd anniversary reaffirming its commitment to academic training, research and links with society.
Founded in 1972, the university has graduated professionals in various fields, contributing to the economic and social development of the province and the country.
In its classrooms it has professors of great excellence who impart knowledge with patience and love for teaching.
That is the case of Roberto Vizcón Toledo, who has been in front of the blackboards of the Yumurian university for 43 years.
«Since 2018, I have been a full-time professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I developed management functions during 1982.
«Actually, every day in front of my students in the classroom, they are constituted as a challenge that I take on with great motivation and commitment. This has happened to me since the first day of graduation, when I was a university professor. I have always found in the classroom young people whom I admire, respect and have always treated them as my colleagues.
«That is why when today I realize that 50 years of my life as a professor have already passed, 43 of which have been at the University of Matanzas, I myself am surprised by the way I face my students and in the classroom I share with them in each class.»
