Municipal Party Plenary Session took place in Pedro Betancourt (+audio).

The highest political and governmental authorities of Pedro Betancourt  gathered at the Municipal Plenary of the Communist Party of Cuba to evaluate the analysis report of the documents RSB 521 and 530, prior to the II National Conference of this organization.

The consultation of these materials, related to the guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, raised the treatment of important issues such as the confrontation of high prices, crime and illegalities and the attention to people in vulnerable situations, as well as the policy of cadres and the preventive and political-political work of the Party and the Revolution and the preventive and political-ideological work with young people.

Susely Morfa González, deputy to the National Assembly of People’s Power and first secretary of the Party in the province, pointed out the main potentialities of this process and the challenges to be faced in order to achieve effectiveness in its application.

Likewise, the conclave urged to promote the improvement of the business sector in Pedro Betancourt in order to achieve greater autonomy, sovereignty and municipal development.
