Santiago de Cuba Dominates Matanzas in a Sluggering Battle.
With this victory, the Wasps closed out their visit to the swamp with an offensive performance that made the difference at the crucial moment.

Santiago de Cuba defeated Matanzas 9-8 at Victoria de Girón Stadium, clinching the series after a decisive home run finish.
The Crocodiles took the lead in the third inning thanks to a throwing error by the catcher during Eduardo Blanco’s attempted steal.
However, the Wasps responded quickly: home runs by Harold Vásquez and Raider Sánchez put the visitors ahead.
Matanzas rallied again. Brayan Peña cut the deficit with a two-run homer, and pinch-hitter Yariel Duque followed with a towering blast to tie the game. In the so-called «lucky inning,» the home team put together a five-run rally to tie the score once more.
The game ended in the eighth inning when Yordis Pereira launched a home run over the center field fence, sealing the victory for Santiago.
With this win, the Wasps capped off their visit to the swamp with an offensive performance that made the difference in the crucial moment.
