There are several examples of entrepreneurs who, despite the obstacles, managed to build solid businesses that contribute to family income and community welfare.
In the current Cuban context, where the economy is trying to overcome complex challenges, small enterprises emerge as a ray of hope and a crucial way for the country’s economic revitalization.
These businesses, which range from food sales to creative services, not only contribute to job creation, but also foster innovation in the Cuban economy.
The opening to entrepreneurship with non-state forms of management allows Cubans, especially young people, to explore their skills and talents.

The economic importance of these forms of management lies in their capacity to generate employment, as well as the development of products and services adapted to local needs. This not only satisfies domestic demand, but can also open doors to international markets.
Although in recent periods economic measures have been established to support the flourishing of enterprises, it would be optimal to design mechanisms to facilitate their development, as well as the simplification of procedures and access to credit.
