La Casa del Campesino, located just on the way to the pool, is one of the novelties of great impact, proposed in the characteristic style of the typical country house, a service that offers national cocktails, Cuban snacks and other delicacies.

The space, recently opened, enhances the beauty of the gardens at the Arenas Doradas and, together with the boulevard, conquers those who are on their way to the beach and stop to enjoy these options, so far in high demand, according to the Facebook page.

This, one of the six hotels managed by the Spanish company Roc in the country, celebrated the occasion by honoring its 15 still active founding employees, some of whom arrived at the facility long before it opened. In that outpost was Lubisel Ojeda. «We had to organize, clean up, get it ready to open. The hotel is my second home,» says the head of the front desk. «I have served millions of tourists here. The important thing is not to get tired of doing well what you have to do».

Workers like Lubisel inspire young new employees to continue working for higher quality and efficiency, according to José Jesús Maden Machado, secretary general of the Union Bureau.

Businessman Vladimir Martínez García Cano, director of Roc Arenas Doradas, agrees with him and praises the quality of the staff, thanks to which they obtain results in whatever field they propose.

Thanks to this, he adds, the four-star Gran Caribe hotel is now well positioned among the three operating Rocs in Cuba’s main beach resort, where the Roc Barlovento and Roc Varadero are also located.

From Canada, Russia, Cuba and Germany are the main clients who choose a hotel that, like the whole sector, overcomes limitations to meet their income plans, especially those associated with the export of services.

Maden means the joy of having received the 28 years as one of the labor collectives of the Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers that donate blood the most, for which «we obtained a recognition from the Provincial Committee of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution».

The production of food and the delivery of donations to special schools and homes for children without family support are other actions carried out by Roc Arenas Doradas, which speaks of the sense of solidarity of its men and women.

Located on the beachfront, the facility stands out for its spectacular architecture and has the added value of being open to the sea, with tropical gardens that reach the beach and rooms and suites with magnificent views.
