The Big Stick and the Imperial Shadow over Latin America.

The arrogant press conference held after the military operation and the capture of a foreign leader constitutes a direct affront to the most fundamental principles of international law. It violated key agreements such as the Charter of the United Nations, which prohibits the use of force against the sovereignty of states; the principle of non-intervention in internal affairs; and the norms regarding the immunity of heads of state—pillars that guarantee peaceful coexistence among nations.
The hypocrisy of proclaiming themselves guarantors of a “democratic transition” in Venezuela contrasts sharply with their true objectives: control of oil and natural resources, the reaffirmation of the Monroe Doctrine as an instrument of hemispheric domination, and the acquisition of geopolitical advantages against China and Russia in an increasingly multipolar world. Beneath the rhetoric of freedom lies the logic of plunder and imposition.
The international community cannot remain indifferent. It is urgent that the countries of the region unite to curb imperial ambitions and defend collective sovereignty.
Today it is Venezuela, tomorrow it could be any other Latin American country under the threat of the American big stick. Regional unity and multilateral resolve are the only guarantee that our peoples will not be subjected to the will of a power that seeks to decide the fate of all of America.
