UJC’s integral work recognized in Pedro Betancourt.

Those present discussed the internal workings of the Young Communist League and its fundamental role in the political, economic and social development of the country.
To the implementation of the integral development strategy of the Young Communist League (UJC), the general secretaries of their base committees dedicated an exchange at the headquarters of the municipal bureau of the Party in Pedro Betancourt municipality.
With the presence of Arley Silva Velázquez, official of the National Committee of the UJC, the meeting gathered student leaders and local authorities, headed by Ledianys Mejías González, secretary of the organization in the town.
Those present discussed the internal workings of the Young Communist League and its fundamental role in the political, economic and social development of the country, while praising the role of youth in the continuity of the revolutionary work and the preservation of its achievements.
In this regard, issues such as the constant preparation of the militancy, the strengthening of the Youth Work Brigades and the implementation of agricultural tasks and contributions to local food production and initiatives to confront illegalities stood out.
Likewise, the attention to vulnerable families and young people disconnected from study and work, the creation of Marti’s clubs, the fight against subversion in social networks and the diversification of activities that strengthen the cult of History and the defense of the Homeland aroused the interest of the secretaries.
Likewise, the work of the José Martí Pioneers Organization and the Federation of High School Students in the integral formation of students and the importance of designing healthy recreational activities for the wellbeing of the new generations were highlighted.
