Based on the value and contribution of these tasks to the quality of health care, the need to improve them and, as a result, to increase the salaries of those who perform them, the micro and small company COHISE S.U.R.L. was founded in Matanzas.
This non-state company, whose president and unitary partner is Ottoniel Candales Morales, was born with the mission of offering cleaning services at the Eliseo Noel Caamaño Pediatric Hospital in Matanzas and then extending its services to other health centers in the province.
The main motivation, explained the president of COHISE, is to protect people’s health through the impeccable hygiene of the place, since cleaning in a hospital environment has to be different from that carried out in establishments used for other services.
Hence the intention to ensure the cleanliness not only of floors. It is essential to properly scrub toilets, sinks, windows and glass, furniture, as well as to eliminate accumulations of garbage in the deposits and keep ceilings and walls free of dust.
For this purpose, each employee is provided with the necessary working conditions and equipment.
