Betancourt authorities strengthen popular management by the end of 2025.
With the goal of consolidating popular control and improving governance in each district, the presidents of the People’s Councils in Pedro Betancourt municipality reaffirmed their role as managers of task planning and the search for solutions to the population’s concerns. In this context, Yonel Estrada Ramírez, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, emphasized the importance of fulfilling the actions planned for the end of the year.

He stressed that the joint work of delegates, voters, and administrative bodies is essential to guarantee organizational discipline and provide an effective response to the demands of the citizens.
For his part, Mardiel Suri González, vice president of the aforementioned government body, emphasized the need for constant monitoring of the main services provided to the population and for rigorously and promptly strengthening control mechanisms to correct the distortions that still persist in the local economy.
Likewise, the work agenda gave top priority to the solemn session of the Municipal Assembly, scheduled for December 16th, the date on which the bicentennial of the founding of the former Corral Falso de Macurijes, now Pedro Betancourt, will be celebrated.
This will be an opportunity to highlight local history and evaluate the performance of the government body in the town.
