Real Madrid stumble in Champions .
The Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid witnessed Real Madrid, with more heart than skill, letting their opponents come back and win another match this season.

Real Madrid lost to Manchester City 2-1 in the sixth round of the Champions League of the old continent.
The Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid, which hosted the clash between the Whites and the Citizens, saw the Merengues, with more heart than skill, allow a comeback victory to be decided once again this season.
The match began with an intense Madrid side despite the absence of their star player, Kylian Mbappé, who didn’t play a single minute due to injury. Just three minutes into the game, Rodrygo Goes won a penalty, which VAR overturned, ruling the foul occurred outside the area.
Xavi Alonso’s men took the lead thanks to a recovery that allowed them to launch a counter-attack, culminating in Rodrygo firing a powerful right-footed shot across goal past the onrushing Manchester City goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Brazilian’s goal, after 32 matches without scoring, sparked pandemonium at the Bernabéu, but the joy and cheers were short-lived. A poorly defended corner by the Real Madrid backline allowed the rebound to fall to full-back Nico O’Reilly, who simply had to tap the ball in to level the score.
The defensive fragility of the Madrid side proved costly again minutes later; Antonio Rüdiger conceded a penalty to Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, who had beaten him to the ball. The City striker didn’t waste the opportunity and sealed the victory for his team from the spot.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois emerged as the hero, preventing further damage after the glaring errors by the Real Madrid defense, which have severely damaged Xavi Alonso’s footballing project.
