With the aim of honoring the dedication of those who guarantee the security of the State and the tranquility of its citizens, the Cuba Theater, in Pedro Betancourt, hosted the municipal ceremony commemorating the 57th anniversary of the founding of the National Revolutionary Police on the island.

The event brought together political and governmental authorities, officials from the Ministry of the Interior, representatives of mass organizations, and directors of various institutions in a tribute filled with solemnity and patriotic commitment.

The ceremony, enlivened by musical accompaniment from artists of the María Villar Buceta House of Culture, celebrated the dedication and courage of the members of the National Revolutionary Police in their role as guardians of peace and stability, while reaffirming the unbreakable alliance between the people and the forces of law and order, an alliance that stands as a shield against adversity and as a guarantee of the enduring Revolution and its achievements.

The ceremony included the promotion of officers and the presentation of awards to those who excelled in their performance, along with the awarding of medals for 10, 15, and 20 years of uninterrupted service.

These recognitions served as a tribute to the perseverance and dedication of those who have devoted their lives to defending the revolutionary cause and protecting the community from crime and social indiscipline.

Since its creation in 1959, the National Revolutionary Police has maintained as its primary missions the preservation of public order, road safety, and citizen tranquility.

This organization, strengthened by the constant contributions of young people committed to their time, has stood by the Cuban people during the most pivotal moments of the Revolution and stands as a symbol of continuity and fidelity to its ideals.
