Posing and Tuning Workshop Held in Matanzas for Bodybuilding

The directorate of the Cuban Bodybuilding and Fitness Association in Matanzas held the fourth edition of the territory’s posing and tuning workshop.

The activity was attended by members of its directorate, as well as young people who will compete for the first time in the junior and beginner championships, scheduled to take place at the end of this month.

The topics addressed were judging, tuning in the final stage of preparations, as well as the mandatory poses for each category.

Eliades Enrique Reynaldo Mesa, in charge of leading the practical part of the event, stated that prior to competitions, several workshops are held so that participants learn the poses of the different categories and the criteria implemented by judges when evaluating.

The event, held at the Bonifacio Byrne House of Culture in Matanzas, contributed to a better stage presence for the athletes on stage, while also serving to eliminate the characteristic fear of the first time on a competition stage.

The Matanzas bodybuilding and fitness family continues working toward future events and in recruiting new talent for a discipline that continues to grow on both the national and provincial scene.
