The main beneficiaries of the project will be a thousand Cuban families, 80% of whom are women from the provinces of Havana and Matanzas, who will have access to new economic opportunities thanks to the development of local craft resources.
The project focuses mainly on the development of ceramics, e-commerce through the Ejakí platform for the commercialization of handicraft products and the promotion of self-improvement actions.
AICS favors the cooperation between the Gualdo Tadino Municipality and the accompaniment of several work teams, including representatives of the Municipality of Amelia, the Italian NGOs NECOS and ITACA and the travel agency Sol & Med.
