Cocodrilos de Matanzas undefeated against Industriales

After six games, the Cocodrilos de Matanzas continue to be a tough nut to crack for the Leones de Industriales in the current II Elite Baseball League.
On Wednesday, the victory returned to Armando Ferrer’s pupils, coming from behind in the ninth inning to win the game by the minimum, 4-3, in extra innings.
Former major leaguer Rusney Castillo and captain Eduardo Blanco, both 3-2 on the night, batted for Matanzas. In addition, all nine starters had at least one hit each, for a total of 14 for the entire team.
In addition to starter Dennys Quesada, relievers Noervys Entenza, who kept the Leones scoreless in five and one-third innings, and Armando Dueñas, who took the mound in the eighth inning, allowed no runs or hits, struck out a total of four batters and earned the win.
With this victory, the Cocodrilos reaffirmed their leadership in the standings with 19 wins and eleven losses.
