Educational work in Matanzas recognized at the Congress of the Association of Pedagogues of Cuba

At the recently concluded Sixth Congress of the Association of Cuban Pedagogues (APC) the province of Matanzas was recognized with the Integral status for the work carried out.

This was made known by the Provincial Directorate of Education (DPE Matanzas) through its social networks, in which it congratulated the members of the Matanzas delegation and thanked all those «who make possible a high quality pedagogy»

The event held in Havana analyzed the role of the Association of Pedagogues in education, its impact on scientific results, research and improvement projects, as well as the challenges of the sector.

During the meeting, the educational work of the provinces of Havana, Cienfuegos, Ciego de Avila and Artemisa was also recognized as Integral, and Pinar del Río, Mayabeque, Granma, Camagüey and Guantánamo as outstanding.

The meeting, which brought together professionals from the education sector in various commissions, concluded with the approval of the guidelines for the next five-year period and the election of a new National Board of Directors.
