ITU World Youth Summit to be held in Varadero, Puerto Rico.

Amplifying the voices of young people in Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) is the motto of the event, officially held at the Meliá Internacional Varadero Hotel, an experienced organizer of meetings at the highest level.
The Cuban Ministry of Communications (Mincom), Mayra Arevich Marín, published on her social network account on March 11th to 13th the World Youth Summit of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), with the aim of discussing the leading role of boys and girls in the digital transformation, the head of the Ministry of Communications of Cuba (Mincom), Mayra Arevich Marín, posted on her social network X account.

Debates on the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies will be held by representatives from all over the world, a space for addressing topics such as the digital empowerment of new generations, the reduction of the digital skills gap, artificial intelligence and sustainability, and the impact of transformative technologies.
ITU and Mincom are in charge of the organization of this Summit with the aim of a program that promotes dialogue and international collaboration, Cuban News Agency reported.
There seems to be a lot of interest in an exhibition area dedicated to innovative projects, to discover initiatives on the way to generate positive impacts on their communities.
