Matanzas specialists discuss the Cuban Family Medicine model (+audio).

Twenty medical specialists from Matanzas are taking part in the Third National Congress on Family Medicine, which is being held at the Havana Convention Palace until November 3rd.

The event, designed to highlight the work of Primary Health Care professionals, will discuss issues related to the daily work of these men and women, explains Dr. José Fernando Placeres Hernández, president of the Chapter of the Cuban Society of Family Medicine in Matanzas.
