Nursing course in Pedro Betancourt.
As part of the primary health care system, health personnel in Pedro Betancourt municipality have access to an emergency nursing course at the Cesáreo Sánchez polyclinic in this area.
The course, which has become an alternative to the shortage of these personnel, contributes to promoting quality in the training and practice of nursing. This is what Zuleika Zuaznábar Díaz, assistant professor and integral methodologist of Medical Teaching in the area, told us.

Likewise, María Mercedes Aldama Oviedo, also an assistant lecturer and master in medical emergencies at the municipal polyclinic, underlined the potential of this course for the training of nursing staff in the different health areas.

The advantages of this emerging nursing course are manifold, which will not only motivate these professionals to acquire the corresponding practical skills, but also to improve the quality of our health care system.
